Local Government

This section provides an overview of Kirkland Lake's municipal government; including information on Mayor and Council; as well as the departments responsible for providing services to the general public. It tells you how you may access your elected representatives; gives you information on upcoming Council meetings, and provides quick links to different services and other on-line information.

Kirkland Lake's municipal government works for you. We invite you to participate in the process by attending public meetings and letting us know what you think and what issues are important to you. We also want to hear from you on how we can improve the services and information we provide to the public, either at our different locations or through this website.
